Casa Dos Estaciónes, or “House of Two Seasons,” is informed by the climate in which the project is sited. Costa Rica, in Central America, typically experiences a dry season and a rainy season each lasting for 5-6 months. On the slope of this mountainside, where the project is found, these seasons become even more noticeable due to strong winds and views across the country’s Central Valley.
